If you are in the unfortunate position of having lost your Saab keys then we are able to help you. All work can be carried out at your home, work or premises.
There is no need to obtain keys, codes or have your pride and joy dragged onto the back of a transporter and taken to the main dealers; we take care of it all.
Most people expect it to be expensive when they lose their car keys but they don’t realise it can be around £1000 to have replacement Saab keys from the Saab dealers.
Not only will the cost be very high, you will also have to have your vehicle recovered to the dealers and that’s not easy and usually expensive with no keys. You will also have to wait 7 to 10 days for the work to be carried out.
Don’t let the dealers tell you that the CIM or the Twice unit must be replaced costing £700-£1,400 and taking several days, when we can complete this work (usually the same day) for a fraction of that cost.
Saab dealers will usually tell you it is not possible for anybody other than themselves to program keys to Saab vehicles that is not the case.
We can program keys to these vehicles and normally next day.
The TWICE module is located on the floor under the carpet of the passenger seat.
As far as a dealer is concerned, it is not possible for THEM to do. Saab does not give their dealers this ability; they would rather sell more new parts.
Dealers don’t have any programming options available to them other than to replace parts. They are passing along the expense of those new parts to you.
All Saab 9-5’s are equipped with transponder (chip) keys.
We have programmed literally hundreds of TWICE modules with a 100% success rate.
Modules are programmed and married to whatever car they are in. They cannot be moved from vehicle to vehicle without reprogramming.
The CIM module (Column Integrated Module) is on 9-3 models from mid-2003 to 2010. It is located on the steering column just behind the steering wheel. It is the part with the turn signal & wiper arms attached to it.

NO! Used FOB keys are no longer programmable to any other car. Once programmed to a car, they stay married to that car. A new FOB key must be ordered from your dealer and then programmed into your car.
All keys are cut and programmed on site at your vehicle. We will never take a CIM or Twice unit away unlike many other Auto Locksmiths.
We offer a Saab car key replacement service to the general public and motor trade throughout Glasgow, Lanarkshire and surrounding areas.
